ERC Tracking 2

Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL

What does this service do?

This service tracks the status of ERC claims that have already been filed. We help businesses understand what the IRS shows on their account, including approvals, disallowances, refund amounts, and check issue dates.

Do you file new ERC claims, amended returns, or expedite claims?

No.

Are you lawyers, CPAs, or IRS representatives?

No. This is an independent support service. We are not a law firm, CPA firm, or the IRS. You receive information and guidance, not legal, accounting, or tax advice.

Who is this service for?

It is for businesses that have already filed ERC claims and are still waiting. It is also for those who received an IRS notice they do not understand or who never received an ERC check that appears to have been issued.

SERVICES

What does tracking include?

Our tracking service gives you regular updates about your ERC. We inform you whether it is approved, still waiting, or disallowed, how much the IRS approved, any interest added, when the check is issued, and we can help them figure out if there may have been a delivery problem.

How often do you check my ERC?

We perform an initial check of your IRS account as soon as tracking begins. You will receive a status update immediately. After that, we check for IRS updates every Monday. If your status does not change, we still send you a monthly update.

What is the "Discovery phase"?

We conduct an initial review of your ERC filings to identify which quarters were claimed and the totals. We also obtain your signed authorization to begin tracking your status with the IRS.

What is the "Tracking phase"?

We monitor your IRS account transcripts for what the IRS has done with your claim. This includes approval or disallowance, approved amounts, interest, check dates, and any checks returned to the IRS.

What happens in the "Check Received phase"?

We notify you when the IRS schedules your check for issuance. We provide guidance and paperwork support if a check is missing, stolen, or needs to be reissued.

How does check recovery work?

If we identify that your ERC check is lost, stolen, or returned to the IRS, we assist you in requesting a replacement.

Can you help if the IRS says my check was mailed but I did not receive it?

Yes. We assist you in starting the IRS process to trace or replace the check.

Do you explain IRS ERC letters?

Yes. We help you read ERC related letters in plain language. We connect them to what we see on your IRS transcripts. Some letters may still need to be shown to your accountant.
